In order to prioritise the health and safety of Veolia’s staff during the hot weather and to avoid issues with overheating vehicles, some collections will start from 6am (rather than 6.30am) next Monday 30th June and Tuesday 1st July, with temperatures forecast to reach at least 30 degrees Celsius and an amber weather warning in place.
Please place your bins out by 6am on those two days. Collections may be delayed if the weather becomes too hot for collection staff. If this happens, please continue to present your bin on the following day if your whole roads collection is missed, as it will be prioritised.
