Elections for Kingston Council 2018

Elections for Kingston Council will take place on Thursday 3 May 2018

Register to vote

If you are already on the register of electors and entitled to vote in these elections you should receive a poll card no later than 6 April. If you have not received a poll card by this date, make sure you register to vote by 17 April. 

On polling day you will be able to vote from 7am to 10pm. You can find your polling station on our website.

Confirmation of Voter Registration 2018 forms have been sent to all residential addresses within the borough. Find out more and update your details if they are not correct.

Important election dates

Midnight 17 April 2018 - Registration deadline

5pm 18 April 2018 - Deadline for receipt of applications to vote by post, postal proxy or to make amendments to any existing postal or proxy votes

5pm 25 April 2018 - Deadline for receipt of new applications ot vote by proxy (where the proxy will vote in person)

  • 18 or over on 3 May
  • a British citizen, a qualifying Commonwealth citizen, or a citizen of the European Union and resident in the UK
