Electoral Services is currently planning a door-knocking stage of the 2024 annual canvass.
Canvassers are employed throughout the borough to call on residents who have not returned their household or Invitation to Register forms and to assist residents with completing these forms using a tablet device.
This is temporary part-time work and canvassers must be available from 13 September to 20 October.
It is expected that most of the visits will be conducted during the evenings and weekends when residents are most likely to be at home. This work can be done alongside a full-time job.
Payment will be made at an hourly rate, of at least the London Living Wage.
