The lifestyle survey

Lifestyle surveys help us gather baseline data for the main risk factors affecting your health and inform the planning and delivery of lifestyle programmes.

 

 

The survey included the following topics:

  • alcohol consumption
  • diet and nutrition
  • drug consumption
  • mental health and Social Isolation
  • physical activity
  • self-reported general health
  • sexual health behaviour
  • smoking status
  • fuel poverty
  • bone health
  • awareness and use of public health intervention programs

 

 

The results of the survey will be analysed by our Public Health Information Team and used to:

  • plan new health and wellbeing services
  • help monitor the impact of interventions to improve health and wellbeing in the borough
  • reduce health inequalities across the borough

 

 

The survey closed on 21 April 2014.
