Saxons wow crowds in Kingston’s glorious crowning parade

Modern day Londoners took a step back in time this weekend to witness a coronation parade for King Athelstan reenacted 1100 years after the first King of a united England was crowned in Kingston in 925 AD.

Kingston 2025 Active for All Sports Day: A Celebration of Sport, Community and Wellbeing

Surbiton’s Alexandra Recreation Ground provided the perfect location for this year's Kingston 2025 Active for All Sports Day, organised by the council’s Active Kingston team. An estimated 400-500 local residents came together to enjoy a packed day of free sport, fitness, and community activities.
