The 2014 public health report for Kingston included a focus on the concept of mental wellbeing. Mental wellbeing is having a positive state of mind and body and feeling safe and able to cope. It also involves having a sense of connection with other people and the environment around you. People can have good mental wellbeing, even if they have a mental illness.
