Election of a borough councillor for the St James Ward

  1. An election is to be held of a councillor for the St James Ward of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
  2. Forms of nomination are available from the Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
  3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU on any day after the date of this notice but no later than 4pm on Friday 21 November 2014.
  4. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 18 December 2014.
  5. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by Tuesday 2 December 2014.
  6. New applications to vote by post and requests to change or cancel existing postal or proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by 5pm on Wednesday 3 December 2014.
  7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by 5pm on Wednesday 10 December 2014.
  8. Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on grounds of either physical incapacity or absence in relation to occupation, employment or service occurring after 5pm on Wednesday 8 October 2014, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by 5pm on Thursday 18 December 2014.
