Roadworks and traffic

Traffic updates

Traffic Bulletin for week commencing 21 August 2017

Each week we publish information on scheduled road maintenance that may cause traffic delays over the following seven days. You can get individual updates on each road from the London register of roadworks.

Waterloo and South West trains upgrade

From 5 to 28 August, platforms one to nine at London Waterloo will be closed so work can start to extend platforms for longer trains. During this time, South West Trains will not be able to run as many trains as usual and there will be significant reductions in services for some stations and a small number will be closed. This means other forms of transport will be much busier than usual, including buses and roads. Find out more about the works and alternatives routes on our webpage.
