A varied course including portrait, figure drawing and still life drawing and painting techniques to expand your creative horizons. You will work from life and also from photographs to develop your skills. This course is also an excellent portfolio builder.
- What will I learn?

You will develop your drawing skills using various mediums and gain confidence by developing strategies to deal with form, composition, tone and colour. You will learn tips and tricks to develop your observational skills, and create exciting and original art that expresses your own personal style.
- What are the entry requirements?

This class is open to all abilities.
- What do I need to bring with me to class?

You will need drawing materials such as pencils, charcoal and putty rubber, a cartridge paper sketchbook of at least A4 size, later in the course you will need water-based paints such as acrylic or watercolour and suitable papers to paint on. Your tutor may advise additional materials, as the course progresses. KAE is unable to provide refunds for any purchased materials should the course be closed or cancelled.

- An early booking discount of 5% is available for all enrolments up to and including the 31st of August. This course is priced at £216.13 for individuals in receipt of a income based state benefit. You will need to be able to provide relevant documentation as evidence. Concessions cannot be used in conjunction with each other.
