Zero Tolerance

Zero tolerance for abusive or threatening behaviour towards our staff

Kingston Council has zero tolerance for abusive or threatening behaviour towards our staff, which we take very seriously.

We are committed to treating everyone with the respect they deserve and we ask that you do the same.

If you behave in an intimidating or violent way towards our staff, you may be:

  • Asked to leave and/or removed from council premises or events.
  • Banned from using council facilities and services.
  • Prosecuted by the police.

If you become concerned about the behaviour of a member of Kingston Council staff, please ask to speak to a manager or use our complaints procedure.
