Fly-posting on our own property
For example, underpasses, buildings and other public areas (unless owned by Transport for London).
We will remove fly-posting within 5 working days once reported.
Fly-posting on private property
Businesses and shops are responsible for removing fly-posting from their own property.
We will not remove fly-posting found on:
- Private properties
Unless it is racist, offensive or abusive
- Railway property that is inaccessible without trespassing
This should instead be reported to Network Rail by calling 0845 711 4141 or reporting online using their Community and Support website page
- Street utility boxes
This is the responsibility of the relevant telecom or electricity company. If you are not sure who owns it and there is no contact details available, you will find that most boxes have a manhole cover in front of them that will show the name of the company that owns the box. You can then report this directly to the company to remove.
- Bus shelter
This can be reported using the Transport for London website
- Phone box
This can be reported using the BT website
