Cycle Parking
We want to encourage cycling and that means giving people safe and convenient places to store their bikes. Cycle Parking infrastructure in the Borough consists of:
- Cycle hangars: Designed for long term cycle parking on residential streets.
- Cycle stands (Sheffield stands): Designed for short stay cycle parking, locations can be viewed online
Secure residential on-street cycle hangars
If you live in a house or flat with limited space, cycle storage can be a challenge. A cycle hangar takes up around half a car parking space and can store up to 6 standard bikes. This makes them efficient and cost effective.
