2025 is set to be a landmark year for Kingston upon Thames as the Royal Borough announces a major, diverse six-month cultural festival opening in May. 

On 6 June, Kingston Council came together with voluntary and community organisations from across the borough for the Kingston Celebrating Communities Awards 2024.

June marks Communities Month, an opportunity for Kingston to come together and celebrate those who empower communities and a chance to highlight the borough’s rich culture and heritage.

More than 260 people joined the free event, aimed at helping residents and businesses to improve their properties, cut energy bills, discover renewable technology and work toward a greener future.
