Volunteering opportunities

Make a difference

You can make a difference to your community. Use your skills and experience to enrich the local community through volunteering. We need your help to provide the best service possible to everyone within our community.

Volunteers provide expert knowledge and a diversity of skills that are hard to come by. You could make a valuable contribution to many areas including the museums, our libraries, or the Youth Offending Service.

Volunteering is a great way to get involved and it can enhance your employment prospects by proving to future employers that you can work in a team and develop new skills.
