The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Sports Award is the highest accolade that can be awarded by the borough to children, young people and adults in recognition of their sporting achievements and services to sport. The awards also recognise the important role that sports clubs play in promoting sports participation locally.
Nominate someone for the Borough Sports Awards
Nominations are open for this year's Borough Sports Awards. If you have someone within your club, whether an athlete, volunteer, coach, secretary or anyone that you feel deserves to be recognised, that fits within the criteria, then they must be nominated to be considered.
You can nominate by completing the online form. There is no limit to the number of nominations you can make, so please look at all the categories, completing a separate form for each nomination.
- The closing date for nominations is Friday 13 October 2017
For nominations criteria see Borough Sports Awards categories and judging criteria.
An independent panel will go through all of the nominations for each category. The panel may contact you if they require some more details. If your nomination is successful you will also be invited to attend the awards ceremony with the winner.
This year's ceremony will be held on Wednesday 15 November 2017, from 7-9pm in the Council chamber, Guildhall. If you have any queries please contact the Active Kingston Team.
