About RideLondon

RideLondon is a global charity fundraising event that comes to Greater London each summer. It is organised by the Mayor of London and his agencies and is a key part of the London 2012 Games Legacy Programme.

Kingston plays its part to make the annual event a success. The event encourages participation in sport – especially cycling locally. it also puts Kingston back on the international stage as people across the world watch the elite cyclists compete.

RideLondon 2019

This year RideLondon will be taking place on Saturday 3 August and Sunday 4 August.

Routes have now been confirmed, and it's worth noting that several roads in the area will be closed on 4 August to make way for the cyclists, but all shops and businesses will be open as usual.

Cyclists in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, 46, 19 and Classic pro events will pass through Kingston and over Kingston Bridge on the outbound route and back through the town via the Ancient Market Place on the return journey.
