Store building materials on highway
If you want to store building materials including portable toilets on the highway you will require a licence.
Fees
Minor Roads
£60.64 for first 7 days (includes administration and site inspection) plus a minimum £105 refundable deposit. Total to pay is £165.64.
For every additional 7 day storage,you pay £60.64 this includes weekly inspection of the site.
Major Roads
£115.76 for first 7 days (includes administration and site inspection) plus a minimum £130 refundable deposit. Total to pay is £245.76.
For every additional 7 day storage, you pay £115.76 this includes weekly inspection of the site.
After work completed
Once the works are completed, we will inspect the site. If there is any damage as a result of the works, an estimate will be sent to you and the full amount will be deducted from the deposit including any additional costs for administration.
All deposits must be reclaimed within one year of completion. They will not be returned after that.
Refunds cannot be given if you are late in extending a licence. A charge of £30 will be made for additional inspections.
