Happy Kingston Collage (Workshop #5)

Join us for a fun and relaxing art and wellbeing workshop, where we'll reconnect with the everyday things that bring us joy.
Join us at Kingston Environment Centre for an afternoon of art and creativity, self-care, good vibes, mindfulness and connection with other like-minded individuals. Through the Happy Kingston Collage*- a series of five Art and Wellbeing Workshops - we'll use collage to reconnect with the everyday things that bring us joy. The session will open with a quick check-in and introduction , followed by hands-on collaging. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and an open mind! Everyone is welcome to attend, even if they have attended a previous workshop - as each one will explore a different idea for having more joy, building on the previous session's activity. These ideas are inspired by long-term thinking principles, and all tools and ideas offered at the workshops are for participants to take home and keep reusing anything which they find helpful. “I attended the workshop with my friend, she had seen it advertised. Unsure of what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxing I found it.” - Ann "I certainly enjoyed it and would recommend to others." - Charlie “I was attracted to this workshop as I heard such amazing reviews of the previous one that you ran regarding happiness and making collages. What a great title, so needed in these times that the world is experiencing. Happiness comes in all forms and it is good to sit down and think about it and what it means to each of us as individuals. ” - Ashi *The Happy Kingston Collage is an activity by The Happy Kingston Project which is a storytelling experiment looking to foster active hope in residents by visioning joyful futures and celebrating the strengths of our community.
