Election of Councillors for the New Malden Village Ward

Thursday 23 June 2022

1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU on  any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Wednesday 25 May 2022.

2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU, during the times stated above or requested by email at: [email protected]

3. No fresh nomination is necessary in the case of a person shown in the Statement of Persons Nominated as standing nominated for the poll that was due to take place on Thursday 5 May 2022.

4. The poll will be held on Thursday 23 June 2022.

5. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by Tuesday 7 June 2022.

6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by 5pm on Wednesday 8 June 2022.

7. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by 5pm on Wednesday 15 June 2022.

8. Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on grounds of physical incapacity or for reasons of employment, where that physical incapacity or change of circumstances due to employment occurred after 5 pm on Wednesday 15 June 2022 must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Room 30, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU by 5pm on Thursday 23 June 2022.
