Annual Household Canvass 2025
The annual canvass of electors takes place each year between July and November with a revised copy of the electoral register. Our electoral registration canvassers are out visiting properties that have not responded to our forms throughout the autumn months.
Change of name
Change of Name on Electoral Register
If you have received a household communcation from us you can begin the process of updating your name by either:
- Visiting registersecurely, entering your two part security code (found on your email or form) and postcode before following the on-screen instructions; or
- Amending the form to show the change of name, check all other details are correct, complete the declaration and return this by post to Electoral Services.
You will also need to provide a copy (please do not provide originals) of your name change evidence (such as marriage certificate or deed poll) by email or post to Electoral Services.
