Your property history

Our building control applications database provides free, up-to-date, 24hr access to building control records across the borough, including:

  • Historic building control information as far back as the 1880's. Please note that the Building Control Service is only required to keep records for a maximum of 15 years, therefore we no longer provide a service for providing historic documents before this time.
  • Scanned images of decision notices and completion certificates regarding Building Regulations applications made since 2002 

For a copy of a Building Regulations decision notice or completion certificate which is unavailable online, please make a request.  Please note that this is a chargeable service.
