On Friday 24 March you are welcome to visit Kingston Library to talk with representatives from Kingston Council for International Anti-Discrimination Day. You can look at materials about the discrimination of minority groups such as Refugees, Gypsy, Roma, Travellers.

So come along to find out more about some of the ways you can influence and improve social justice in our borough and more widely. The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames is committed to eliminate discrimination in our community. 
 

Background to International Anti-Discrimination Day 
The origins of this day is the Sharpeville Massacre. Since then, The UK now has an international framework for fighting racism: the International Convention on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Yet too many individuals, communities and societies still suffer from the daily injustices.
 
The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames is committed to eliminate discrimination in our community.
