Get your voice heard
We are focusing on strengthening the relationship between the council and the community and want to involve residents in the design of local services and the things that affect them most. We are looking at doing this in new ways including citizen's assemblies, better online engagement and more open democracy.
There are many other ways that you can get your voice heard in the council's decision making process. You could:
- contact your local councillors
- take part in consultations and petitions
- attend and speak at committee meetings
- watch committee meetings live
- join our online engagement portal to keep up-to-date with current consultations
- comment on planning applications
- become an independent member of a committee or board
