    Phase one of the programme is underway with cameras being deployed in a number of gardens across Alexandra and Berrylands Wards.... Phase two (July-August 2021) will see cameras introduced in Berrylands Nature Reserve, Elmbridge Meadows and Southwood Open Space.

    Designation summary The special architectural and historic interest of this area can be summarised as: A group of  houses built from the 1860s to the 1880s, set around the Grade II listed Christchurch.Historic background This part of Berrylands around Christchurch was developed from 1860 as a select residential estate.... However, as is typical of the Berrylands area, development was sporadic and buildings in the area were erected over a 25 year period up to about 1885.

    The first speaker for the new series of meetings is Robyn Shaw from The South East Rivers Trust, who will be talking to us about the river restoration project "Enriching Elmbridge Meadows" which is happening in the Berrylands area along the Hogsmill.... Citizen Zoo is looking for volunteers to come and help restore the Edith Gardens Nature Reserve, and carry out some important work on the great site tucked away in Berrylands....
