School Place Planning Strategy

The School Place Planning Strategy sets out the strategic framework for the provision and management of school places within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

The strategy provides direction to the council in its fulfilment of its statutory school place planning duties as set out in the Education Act 1996, most notably section 14, which sets out the requirement to ensure enough state-funded mainstream and specialist school places for residents’ children.
