We have produced the Draft Riverside Public Realm Supplementary Planning Document (‘Riverside SPD’ for short) to explore how the riverside can be improved. We have jointly developed a vision for the future and a range of project ideas with the help of local groups and stakeholders. The findings and proposals are explained in the Riverside SPD.
Once approved, the SPD will be an important reference for planning decisions and will also help the council access funding from the Greater London Authority, British or European funding bodies to help deliver individual projects.
Have your say
Public consultation on the Riverside SPD runs from 19 January to 19 March 2018.
It is important that we hear from as many people as possible, whether you live, work, visit or run a business in the borough. This is your opportunity to comment and tell us what you think about the vision and proposals outlined.
You can also come along to either of our drop in sessions at the Minima Yacht Club in Kingston to have your say and speak to our planners:
- Wednesday 31 January, 3pm to 6.45pm
- Saturday 3 February, 10am to 2pm.
