Kingston Adult Education open for enrolments

Kingston Council is excited to announce that Kingston Adult Education is open for Autumn term enrolments.

The service continues to offer a wide range of courses, with a core focus on supporting health and wellbeing, supporting people with learning new skills and getting back into work.

Some courses are being delivered online through distance learning and others will be delivered in community settings such as some of our libraries.

Cllr Tim Cobbett, Portfolio Holder for Engagement and Communities said:

Kingston Adult Education has done a fantastic job supporting our learners virtually over the last three months and I'm really pleased that from the Autumn term it'll continue to offer a range of courses both online and in person.

There are some great courses available, many with a focus on supporting health & wellbeing and upskilling people to help them get back into work.

For many of us, the recent months have been a time for reflection and also looking to the future. Now is a great opportunity to learn a new skill or find a new hobby.

I am really grateful for the hard work of our tutors - moving lots of content online and helping learners to access it - and to the venues around the Borough that are supporting us by finding space for socially distanced classroom provision in community settings.

Whilst things will not be back to normal, there are lots of exciting opportunities to find a course that suits you and to meet like-minded people - and I'd encourage everyone to read through the offer and sign up this August to try something new this autumn.
