A celebration of Kingston Stronger Together supporting the borough through COVID-19

During COVID-19, we have been collecting and celebrating the stories of staff and volunteers who have gone above and beyond to help our community throughout this crisis.

Since the country went into lockdown in March 2020, Kingston has united to look after its most vulnerable residents and to help our borough through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many of our staff have been moved into completely new roles to support our effort to control COVID-19; others have carried out their existing roles changing ways. From our refuse collectors to our highway inspection teams; from our libraries to our children's services, our senior leadership team to adult social care, everybody has had a part to play.

These pages include stories from across the Council, featuring lockdown selfies and Google Hangout pictures, detailing how when the world went into lockdown, our staff continued to work for our borough; whether it was on the frontline, or working to help our residents from inside their homes.

It has been a huge effort, and here we thank just some of the many unsung heroes all across Kingston.

Thank you to all of the unsung heroes, from Kingston Council and beyond.
