Update on COVID-19 (Coronavirus) from Kingston Council

An update on the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation from Kingston Council.

With new guidance from the Government now impacting all of us in our everyday lives, Kingston Council is putting measures in place to make sure we’re keeping critical services running.

Digital access to magazines, newspapers, books and other library resources

Our physical libraries may be shut at the moment but you can still access all our digital resources. If you don't have a library card simply click on 'join your library' and your temporary library card will give you full access to our digital library.

Press reader - a resource that gives people access to hundreds of newspapers and magazines from both the UK and abroad is now available to all of our library users.

Visit www.pressreader.com and sign up with your Kingston library card. Anyone with an UNREG card needs to replace the UNREG00 part of the number with KTP0.

Ancestry - a family history resource - is also now available to access online.

Kingston Aid and Voices of Hope

Thank you to Kingston Aid and Voices of Hope for coordinating the delivery of emergency meals to residents in need over the weekend and the delivery of 46 food parcels on Monday.
