Fees and charges for holding an event in a park

General information about fees and charges for holding an event in a park:

  • bank holidays: events held on bank holidays will be charged at double the normal rate
  • administration fees: our administration fee is 10 per cent of the hire charge
  • discretionary rates: some events that are organised by community or charitable organisations may be charged at a discretionary rate (depending on the nature of the event, the location and time of year)

  • funfairs, circuses, concerts - £2,500
  • large events - £2,000
  • car boot sales - £2,000
  • community events - £100

Commercial funfairs, circuses, concerts and large events with admission charges to the public

Operating day

  • less than half a hectare - £423
  • half a hectare to two hectares - £847
  • more than two hectares - £1,540

Non-operating day

  • less than half a hectare - £94
  • half a hectare to two hectares - £423
  • more than two hectares - £770

Large events with free admission to the public

Full day

  • less than half a hectare - £242
  • half a hectare to two hectares - £484

Half day
