Events on a highway
When planning your event you might consider holding it on the public highway. It is important we talk to you to check your requirements a minimum of 4 months in advance. We will need to discuss with you:
- how people will know the road is closed
- access for emergency vehicles
- if part of a bus route, how we need to plan for this
We also advise you to discuss your plans with local businesses as this may also affect them.
