Services for schools

History workshops

We offer bespoke history workshops for schools on a variety of subjects from the Medieval era to the Second World War or even local history near your school’s area. These can be put together to meet your specific requirements and are in collaboration with our Learning and Engagement Officer and our Local History Officer.

We also run a wide range of standard sessions to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum. Workshops, assemblies and resources can also be tailored to your school needs. Sessions can be held in the Museum, History Centre or at your own school or venue.

School group visits to Kingston Museum or Kingston History Centre are charged at £2.50 per child; workshops held in school are charged at £3 per child.

Weekly hire fee for handling collection. First week free, £10 after per week
