Organised rides

If you are keen to cycle with others in and around the borough, be it a social ride in Richmond Park, or a spin down into the Surrey Hills, the chances are there’s a led ride for you in this section.

Let's Ride

British Cycling, in conjunction with HSBC organise a wide range of led rides from long distance outings to traffic-free bike rides through major towns and cities and small local rides ideal for families and beginners. Their ride leaders are fully trained volunteers who lead and inspire groups of riders all over the country. And they will help you find great cycling routes and people to explore them with.

Women on Wheels

IMPORTANT - Due to the Coronavirus guidance, these rides will be suspended until further notice. Please sign up to the mailing list to be informed when they will be running again.

Rides are organised on the last Sunday of every month (except December). No need to book just turn up! Pass the word!

The ride is a great opportunity to gain confidence on your bike in a fun and sociable environment. Led by experienced Kingston Council cyclist instructors, the ride lasts for two to three hours and takes place in quieter routes at a leisurely pace. It includes a refreshment break.

Meet at 10am next to the Falling Telephone Boxes outside Wilkinson's, west end of Old London Road.
