Penalty charge notices - parking, moving traffic and bus lane penalties

What happens if a Penalty Charge Notice remains unpaid?

If a penalty charge notice (PCN) remains unpaid, a warrant of control may be issued in the keeper’s name under the authority of Northampton County Court.

This warrant will be passed to one of our debt collection agencies – Collect Services Ltd, Task Enforcement or Marston Group. They will contact the keeper to request payment. If payment is still not made, they may instruct a certified enforcement agent (previously 'bailiff') to find another way to secure payment.

If you have a query about a PCN which has been passed to our debt collection agency, please contact them directly and they can advise you further as well as take payment.
