Parkrun is a timed 5km run, jog or walk for all ages and abilities.
Free weekly sessions are held locally, at Kingston YMCA Hawker Centre (Lower Ham Road, Kingston, KT2 5BH). The route is supported by stewards along the way and starts and finishes on the tow-path adjacent to the Hawker Centre. See the Parkrun site for more information. Parkruns are also held just outside the borough at Crane Park, Richmond Park, Bushy Park and Old Deer Park.
Surbiton junior parkrun is a FREE 2km event for junior runners of all standards, which takes place every Sunday at 9:00am in Alexandra Recreation Ground, King Charles Road, Surbiton, Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, KT5 9BE. See the homepage for more details.
Whether you are interested in taking part as an established runner, aspiring runner or simply to improve your health and fitness, then parkrun is for you. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
Before taking part, register for free at the parkrun website and your time can be recorded.
