Join Team Kingston
If you are between 11 and 18 years of age, London Youth Games offer you the chance to compete in a wide range of sports throughout the year.
33 London boroughs take part in the Youth Games and competitions take place at venues around the capital throughout the year. The finals weekend takes place at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in July.

London Youth Games 2018
Complete our London Youth Games application form to apply:
- make sure that the participant is eligible and that they either live in or go to school/college in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames
- make sure that the participant falls within the stated age group/school years of your chosen sport(s)
Check the competition dates - if you select more than one sport and the competition dates are the same you will only be allowed to do one.
London Youth Games Cross Country 2018
Cross Country is the first event of the 2018 London Youth Games season and will be held on Saturday 18 November 2017 at Parliament Hill.
Applications are welcome for the U17, U15 ,U13 and U11 age groups and are open now to those that either live in or go to school/college in the borough of Kingston.
Age groups are as follows
- U11 - born between 1/9/2006 and 31/08/2007
- U13 - born between 1/9/2004 and 19/11/2006
- U15 - born between 1/9/2002 and 31/08/2004
- U17 - born between 1/9/2000 and 31/8/2002

How you can take part
All applicants must complete a parkrun event (at the correct distance for their age) between 2 September 2017 and 5 November 2017 before filling out the application form.
- U11 and U13 age groups - complete a Junior 2k parkrun
- U15 and U17 age groups - complete a 5k parkrun
If you haven't already registered for a parkrun please visit the parkrun website to register and remember to bring your barcode with you so your time will be recorded. You should register no later than 6pm on the Friday before you wish to run.
Once you have completed your parkrun you can register for Team Kingston.
Please complete the online application form, all fields are compulsory. A parent/guardian must complete the consent section of the application.
The closing date to submit entries is Sunday 5 November 2017, at which time the online form will no longer be available. Late entries cannot be accepted due to competition deadlines.
