As part of our ongoing work to improve and enhance our green spaces, we are investing £1.3 million in our borough's parks.
The project will be used to improve accessibility in our parks and playgrounds, with the introduction of new entrance points, paths, playground and gym equipment.
Kingston's parks and green spaces are crucial for exercise and wellbeing, but to ensure they stay open for everyone to use, it is vital that you follow the Government's guidelines to stop the spread of COVID-19. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the latest guidance on our webpage.
We are now transforming three more playgrounds in the borough: RAF Chessington Playground and Sir Francis Barker Recreation Ground in Chessington and Athelstan Recreation Ground in Kingston Town. To view our draft proposals for these play areas and to share your views with us - visit the playground pages.
