Kingston Council is setting its sights on the Mayor of London's prestigious London Borough of Culture award.
Two boroughs will be awarded the title, one for 2019 and one for 2020, and both will recieve up to £1.1 million in funding for cultural programmes. Up to six other boroughs will receive support to deliver bespoke cultural projects. Kingston Council is reaching out to communities, local organisations and partners to develop a compelling application, which will be submitted in December. The winning boroughs will be announced in February.
Join us as we celebrate the distinctive character and diversity of Kingston's people and places.
