Heritage Open Days

Heritage Open Days, 6-9 & 13-16 September

Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, this year's festival will be held across two weekends 6-9 & 13-16 September.

Every year in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.

Kingston Museum and History Centre will be open as usual across the festival, free and open to all. On Saturday 8 September there will be special free guided tours of Kingston Museum & Library, Kingston History Centre, and the Guildhall ceremonial rooms, organised in partnership with Kingston Upon Thames Society.
