Provision of a Homecare Service Contract

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is inviting organisations with relevant experience of providing Homecare services to apply for inclusion onto a select list of potential providers.
We are looking for high quality providers who can support and maintain eligible customers in their homes through the provision of high quality care and assistance using available resources effectively and imaginatively.
Providers are sought who can work in partnership with customers and their families and support them in maximising opportunities to take control over their lives and to direct and manage the support they receive.
The services comprise predominantly of Personal Care, Practical and Social Support, and other related services including Night Sleeping, Night Sitting, Live In Care and Relief Care.
Selected organisations will be invited to submit proposals on how the services can best be delivered to ensure quality, effectiveness and service development.
The contract will commence in August 2013 and will be for a minimum period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years reviewed annually.
Those organisations wishing to be included should apply for a questionnaire in the first instance which will require them to submit the following details: financial status, operational capabilities and resources, experience of working with Local Authorities, environmental, health and safety and equalities policies.

Applications are to be made by 5pm, on 30 April 2013. Questionnaires are to be returned by 3pm, on 7 May 2013. Successful applicants will be invited to tender on 31 May 2013.
