Design and Print Framework Contract

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames invites tenders for the provision of design and print
The contract is comprised of three Lots:
- Lot 1 – Digital Design (development of micro-sites and ongoing support, digital banner advertising, app development, social media and e-mail marketing campaigns and associated services)
- Lot 2 – Design for Print (graphic design for print output, creative concept and brand development,
creative page layout, typesetting and text layout)
- Lot 3 – Print Services (printing of business cards, leaflets, publications, flyers, magazines, pamphlets, newsletters, posters, reports, pad sets, forms and envelopes and similar services; printing onto paper and card; finishing including perfect binding, saddle stitching, wire stitching, drilling, die cutting, folding, varnishing, laminating, trimming, creasing and perforation).
The authority intends to establish a framework contract and intends to appoint three organisations to each Lot of the framework. The Council reserves the right to appoint more than three organisations to each Lot.
Tenderers may bid for more than one Lot.
The framework will operate on a mini-competition basis, with the organisations on each Lot asked to submit quotes for individual jobs.
The contract terms will be a period of four years for Lots 1 and Lot 2 and two years, six months (30 months) for Lot 3; with an optional extension, at the Council’s discretion, of an additional one year and six months (18 months).
Applicants will be required to submit details of their financial status, technical capabilities and resources, experience, health and safety and equal opportunities and environmental policies along with their tenders.
The Council seeks to deliver social value through its contracts. Tenderers will therefore also be asked to
detail how they will support the Kingston community where possible through the delivery of their services.
