Works to complete the Kingston Station project are complete.

Works have been undertaken to improve connectivity at Kingston Bridge and the western gateway to Kingston by upgrading the pedestrian and cycle facilities at the junction of Horse Fair and Clarence Street.

The station forecourt area is complete, and includes new crossings and two-way cycle lane on Richmond Road.

The new Cycle Hub at Kingston Station is complete and open for use. The Cycle Hub provides free to use cycle parking monitored by extensive CCTV. Cycle maintains repair facilities are also provided on site.

Construction of the new riverlink pedestrian and cycle bridge is broadly complete, and open to the public to provide a new safe and segregated route between Kingston Station and Skerne Road.

The new pedestrian and cycle bridge was successfully installed over the weekend of 23-24 March 2019. You can watch a time-lapse video on our website.
