Why are we using Body Worn Video Cameras?

Body Worn Video (BWV) Cameras are in operation to protect the safety of Council Revenue Enforcement and Visiting Agents and to ensure fairness, transparency and accountability.  

Can I see the footage?

You have the right to see BWV images of yourself only. This is called a Subject Access Request. You need to make a request in writing within 14 days of the recording to the contact below:

You will need to provide details including two forms of approved ID to help the Council to establish your identity as the person in the footage. The Council will provide the images where possible, within 40 calendar days of your written request.
