Offers of community support
If you are a local organisation, individual or business looking to offer your support for Ukrainians arriving in our borough, please fill out our community support offer form. We will ensure that suitable offers of support are translated and forwarded onto Ukrainian families in Kingston.
Can you speak Russian or Ukrainian? If so, you might be able to help welcome and support Ukrainian families arriving in Kingston. Find out more and apply to be a volunteer interpretor.
One of the best ways to support is by donating cash, rather than goods.
Disasters Emergency Committee - 15 of the UK’s major humanitarian aid agencies have come together to launch an appeal for Ukraine to provide food, water, shelter and healthcare to those affected.
Unicef is helping to provide families with access to clean water, healthy food, supplies and helping to make sure that child protection services continue in Ukraine.
Refugee Action Kingston has pledged to support refugees and asylum seekers from Ukraine.
Mayor of London’s website has a list of more charities working to support the people of Ukraine.
Kingston Voluntary Action has pledged support to Ukraine and signposted ways to help.
London Plus has created a list of organisations to signpost support for those affected by the crisis in Ukraine. This includes charities and community groups, with a particular focus on London-based organisations.
Ukrainian Institute in London has signposted information and places to donate to support Ukraine.
Asylum Welcome have created an information pack which they will keep updated with the latest government information.
