Kingston Council stands with Ukraine - How can you help?

Kingston Council stands with Ukraine

Kingston Council stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, and all Ukrainian people in our borough and across the world.

These pages can be used by residents looking for ways to support Ukrainian families, and for Ukrainian families looking for support and services in Kingston.

We understand many of our residents have been deeply affected by the invasion. We have opened a Book of Solidarity for you to share your messages of support and reflection.

Leader of Kingston Council Andreas Kirsch has pledged support to the people of Ukraine in a statement on 24 of February. He said:

We stand in unity with the people of Ukraine, who are today facing the harrowing realities of war, as well as their friends and relatives here in Kingston. Our thoughts are with you and we offer our heartfelt support.

We also keep in our thoughts our Russian residents who will no doubt be appalled by what has unfolded.

Kingston is a welcoming and inclusive place, where the contributions people from all over the world bring to our local community are welcomed and celebrated.  We are committed to working with our local partners to play our part in providing support and reassurance to those affected.
