Find out about the Solar Together group buying scheme

Councils across London are working in partnership with the Mayor of London to make the transition to clean energy as cost effective and hassle-free as possible, through the Solar Together initiative.

Solar Together is a group-buying scheme which makes it easy for homeowners and small-medium sized enterprises to install solar panels and battery storage for a competitive price with a trustworthy, pre-vetted installer.

Register your interest on the Solar Together website and their team will be in touch when the next round of registrations is open.

Earn money from your unused solar power

If you don’t use all the energy your panels generate, you can export it to the grid and earn money from it thanks to the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG). London Power, the Mayor of London's energy company, has just launched an export tariff to buy your excess energy. To find out more, visit mylondonpower.com

Save money on your electricity bills

Solar panels are a good investment. With your own solar panels you can save on your energy bills and be less reliant on energy suppliers.

Renewable energy source

The sun is a clean and unlimited source of energy, unlike finite fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal.

Reduce CO2 emissions

With solar panels you contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions and a sustainable future.
