Kingston register office

Register office ceremonies in Kingston are held in The Old Court House on the ground floor of the historic Guildhall. There are 3 ceremony rooms to choose from. All the rooms are steeped in history, with original features and impressive high ceilings.

To check room availability or make a booking, email registrars@kingston.gov.uk. You should include your preferred date and time. There is a £50 non-refundable booking fee.

A renewal of vows, naming or commitment ceremony is an ideal opportunity to celebrate a special time in your life.

Statutory ceremonies 

A basic ceremony containing the legal requirements for marriage or civil partnership only and held in a working office. Available on selected Tuesdays only. 

This ceremony cannot be personalised or enhanced with things such as music or readings. Only two guests are permitted, and they will need to act as witnesses. Both witnesses should be over the age of 16 and able to speak and understand English.

Statutory ceremonies cost £46.
