Benefits for carers
Getting information on any benefits can feel like a struggle. Having the right information can make a huge difference. There are several benefits that you and the person you care for might be entitled to including the following:
- Carers Allowance
- Disability benefits
- Carers Credit
- Universal or Pension Credit
- Help with Council Tax
- Other Financial Help
Kingston Carers’ Network gives advice and support with claiming benefits for carers and those they care for. Also, if you need support in challenging decisions made by the Department for Work and Pension, KCN has a specialist Benefits Appeals Worker to support you, which includes representation at appeal tribunal hearings.
