Comment on or view a planning application

Track applications and get notifications on the Planning Register

You can use the Planning Register to:

  • track applications (includng your own)
  • save searches
  • get notifications from applications and areas you’re interested in

You’ll need to be registered for an account to track applications or get notifications.

Track an application

  1. Login to the Planning Register.
  2. Search to find the application you’re looking for.
  3. Click ‘Track’ in the top right - the button with a star icon.
  4. You’ll receive an email when the status of the application changes.

See applications that you’ve tracked

  1. Go to ‘My Profile’.
  2. Click ‘Tracked Applications’.
  3. You’ll see a list of all applications that you are tracking.
  4. You can view each application or stop tracking it.

Save a search

You can save a search and be notified by email when there are new results that match your search.

  1. Login to the Planning Register.
  2. Search to find the information you’re interested in.
  3. Click ‘Save Search’ in the top right - the button with a floppy disk icon.
  4. You can choose a name for the search and whether you want to be notified by email of new results.

See applications that you’ve saved

  1. Go to ‘My Profile’.
  2. Click ‘Saved Searches’.
  3. You’ll see a list of all your saved searches.
  4. You can view each application or stop tracking it.
  5. You can run searches again, edit them, or delete them.
