Kingston Adult Education

Kingston, Council, Kingston Council, Kingston Adult Education

We look forward to welcoming you to your course(s) for the Summer Term 2021!  If you are coming into any of our centres for any part of your course, please rest assured that risk assessments have been undertaken and covid measures are in place (eg distancing between desks, protective screens (where applicable), enhanced cleaning regimes and covid resources (masks, tissues, bags) on each site.

From 17 May, in line with Step 3 of the Government's roadmap, learners will no longer be required to wear face coverings in the classrooms or communal areas.

Please, however, ensure you continue to follow the protocol below to ensure we all remain as safe as possible.

1) All learners and staff should take a test and receive a negative result prior to attending any adult education class at a centre.

2) You must not come into your class or any adult education centre in the following circumstances:

  • if you have one or more coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms

  • if a member of your household (including someone in your support bubble or childcare bubble if you have one) has coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms

  • if you are required to isolate having recently visited countries outside the Common Travel Area

  • if you have had a positive test.
